INCIDENT REPORT

THE NIMITZ ENCOUNTER
DATE: November 14, 2004 LOCATION: Pacific Ocean, 100mi SW of San Diego CLASSIFICATION: REDACTED → UNCLASSIFIED (2017) STATUS: OFFICIALLY ACKNOWLEDGED

> DOCUMENT RECOVERED FROM PUBLIC DOMAIN SOURCES

For thirteen years, this incident remained classified. Then in December 2017, the New York Times published what many considered impossible: official Pentagon confirmation of a UAP encounter.

This is what happened.

INITIAL CONTACT

> 14 NOV 2004 - APPROX 1400 HRS PST

The USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group had been tracking anomalous radar contacts for two weeks. Objects were appearing at 80,000+ feet, then dropping to sea level within seconds—maneuvers that would destroy any known aircraft.

RADAR DATA SUMMARY

Initial Altitude 80,000+ ft
Final Altitude Sea Level
Descent Time < 1 second
Calculated G-Force Unknown / Impossible
Heat Signature None detected
Propulsion Signature None detected

VISUAL ENCOUNTER

Commander David Fravor and Lt. Commander Alex Dietrich were vectored to investigate. What they found defied explanation.

CDR DAVID FRAVOR, USN (RET)

"It was a white Tic Tac, about 40 feet long, with no wings, no rotors, no visible propulsion. It was just hovering there. When I approached, it accelerated and disappeared. Not fast. Instantaneous."

The object had been hovering above a disturbance in the water—a submerged object the size of a 737 creating a churning, cross-shaped pattern beneath the surface.

LCDR ALEX DIETRICH, USN (RET)

"We were not alone out there. What I saw that day... it performed maneuvers that should not be possible. No exhaust. No wings. No sound. And it knew we were there."

THE SECOND INTERCEPT

Another aircraft was launched. This time, the FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) camera captured footage.

The video—now publicly released—shows an oblong object with no visible means of propulsion, rotating mid-flight, and accelerating beyond the tracking ability of military systems.

⚠️ OFFICIAL PENTAGON STATEMENT

"The Department of Defense confirms the authenticity of the released videos. The aerial phenomena observed remain unidentified."

WHAT WASN'T RELEASED

The public video is a fraction of what was recorded. According to witnesses:

THE FIVE OBSERVABLES

Intelligence analyst Lue Elizondo, former director of the Pentagon's AATIP program, identified five characteristics that appeared in this and other encounters:

UAP CHARACTERISTICS

None of these characteristics match any known human technology. In 2004 or today.

IMPLICATIONS

Three possibilities exist:

Congressional hearings in 2023 suggested that many within the intelligence community believe Option C.

DAVID GRUSCH, FORMER INTELLIGENCE OFFICER (2023 TESTIMONY)

"We have recovered craft of non-human origin. We have a multi-decade program to reverse-engineer this technology. I have been made aware of these programs through official channels."

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR DISCLOSURE DAY

The Nimitz incident wasn't fiction. It wasn't speculation. It was a documented military encounter, confirmed by the Pentagon, witnessed by trained pilots, and captured on sensor systems.

It happened.

And it's just one of thousands of similar reports.

Disclosure Day asks: What happens when these incidents can no longer be isolated? When the evidence becomes undeniable? When the sky stops being something we look at—and becomes something that looks back?

[ END TRANSMISSION ]

The Nimitz encounter remains unexplained.
The footage remains authentic.
The truth remains classified.
